IgVideoDown strictly respects the intellectual property rights of copyright holders and operates in full compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). We provide tools for creators to download their own content, backup media, and engage in legitimate Fair Use activities.

1. Notice Regarding Server Architecture & Hosting

It is essential to understand our operational architecture prior to submitting a notice:

IgVideoDown is not a media host. We do not host, store, clone, transcode, or retain any videos or images on our servers. Our utility parses links in real-time, fetching publicly accessible media streams directly from third-party content delivery networks (CDNs) into the user's browser. We possess no technical ability to delete source files from the Internet; to remove content permanently, contact the host platform directly.

2. Blacklisting / URL Blocking Requests

If you are a copyright owner or an authorized legal representative and wish to blacklist a specific Instagram URL from being processed by our tool suite, we will gladly accommodate your request.

Please send a formal takedown request containing the following elements to dmca@igvideodown.com:

A physical or electronic signature of the copyright holder or authorized representative.
Specific identification and description of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
The exact, full Instagram URL(s) to be blacklisted.
Sufficient contact information including your legal name, physical address, telephone number, and verifiable email address.
A statement affirming that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or statutory law.
A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in your notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

3. Resolution Timeframes

Upon receipt of a complete and substantiated DMCA notice, our legal compliance team acts within 24 to 48 business hours to add the identified URLs to our backend blacklist, permanently preventing future processing via IgVideoDown.

4. Counter-Notification Procedure

If content associated with your public account has been blacklisted and you believe this action resulted from mistaken identification or fair use rights, you may submit a counter-notification to dmca@igvideodown.com detailing your statutory rights and consent to local jurisdiction.
